Over the 4th of July (reread that in your best Jaws voice) we, Bella, Andrew & I, were invited to stay the weekend at my Aunt & Uncle's beautiful Stone Harbor shore house. We had 2.5 days of gorgeous weather, delicious food, belly-clenching laughs and a whole lot of family moments I felt lucky, and grateful, to be a part of. Oh, and whole heap of Fleetwood Mac tunes to make the entire getaway complete.
I have so. many. photographs of my daughter, niece, sister, etc., and I figured it was time to create a nice blog dedicated to the most amazing people in my life. It'll be a new series, because how could it not? :)
On Sunday, April 30th, I was invited into the Lagergren's Church and home to capture the baptism of one the happiest babies ever! She was dressed in the same white Christening gown that her mama had worn years earlier, while being surrounded by a whole bundle of people who came to watch her become a child of God.
I know, I know! You should never post anything less than your best work on your blog, but I couldn't help myself – I like to show the old with the new, and how far I've come since starting my journey as a wedding photographer. This post is that.
You read that right – Clever Girl's FIRST EVER engagement session is now on the blog! From 2011, if memory serves me correctly. And yes, I could check the metadata and confirm but really, it's from a long long while ago and that's what I'm going for here. ;) A little blogger nostalgia if you will appease me for the moment!
