On Sunday, April 30th, I was invited into the Lagergren's Church and home to capture the baptism of one the happiest babies ever! She was dressed in the same white Christening gown that her mama had worn years earlier, while being surrounded by a whole bundle of people who came to watch her become a child of God.
It was a beautiful day full of even, overcast lighting that greeted us with streaks of sunshine every now and again. Outside we were met with a gentle, cooling breeze every time we ventured to take a few family portraits, never once too hot or too cold – it's the little things in life, remember! Their extended family of nieces and nephews enjoyed the afternoon with Playskool lawn mowers and landscaping equipment, while others couldn't keep away from the famed plastic toy cars (they had four of them!).
I was a part of their beautiful day for only a brief amount of time, but it didn't take me long to discover that they were some of the sweetest, kindest, and funniest group of people I've ever had the pleasure of working with!
I'll hush up now & get on with their gorgeous day!
