In November of 2016, I had the pleasure of spending a beautiful morning with Liane & Joey. It was our first time meeting, too, and right from the get-go it was one of those "hit it off" type situations – partnership might be a better word, really. We laughed and made the occasional awkward joke throughout the session, while finding a plethora of not-so-easy places for them to sit and set up. They trooped on and we created photographic magic together, and I loved every second of it.

That morning was crisp – I believe it was 23° when we started, but neither Liane nor Joey seemed to mind the wintry weather we went up against all in the effort to "get the shot." As an aside, I adore working with couples who are open and willing to try or experiment when it comes to locations, settings and outfits; by refusing to limit themselves on account of any rain or cold weather, it manifests this perfect symbiotic relationship. Whenever this occurs, it ultimately allows the entire hour or so to run smooth and easy, and I'm so damn grateful for it.

Liane & Joey's wedding will be an adventure in Destination Wedding shooting, too; in March of 2018 I'm headed to the Gulf to capture their day and to say that I'm excited-eager-ready at a moment's notice might still be an understatement. ;) It's no secret that I'm jazzed but I'm also thankful to have been chosen to be a part of what I know will be an amazing day!

And if their engagement session was any indication of how their wedding will go, it'll be one I'll never ever forget (in that really good way!). Their photos say much more than I ever could, so how about we open that digital album...
