You read that right – Clever Girl's FIRST EVER engagement session is now on the blog! From 2011, if memory serves me correctly. And yes, I could check the metadata and confirm but really, it's from a long long while ago and that's what I'm going for here. ;) A little blogger nostalgia if you will appease me for the moment!

I'm going back to the beginning of 2014 for this beautiful engagement session, where I spent a late afternoon with two of the sweetest – and funniest – people, Cindy & Jay. A brief history: I've known Cindy since I was in grade school and long long long ago were besties, like, thick-as-thieves besties! And though time has taken us away from that level of bffitude™, it hasn't diminished my affections for her as person, or as a friend. She's my buddy for as long as I'm here and that's that.
I spent one of the best evenings of my career at Marsh Creek Lake with Martha & Daniel. & I know, it must seem like I say that a lot or in every one of my blog posts, but here's a thing: it's true! I'm sending healthy, positive vibes your way and of course, all the congratulations! And sleep. Always send sleep to new parents.
Okay, I'm double-dipping on this one, but since I've finally nailed my editing style AND workflow, I had to brush up this engagement session with Dane & Shawn. These two, oh how I adore them. I wrote all about that and more here, but to make a lovely story short: these two are "that special something, that pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, that indescribable scent of roses and rain" – to sum it up, they're what everyone is born to this earth to discover: soulmates.
In November of 2016, I had the pleasure of spending a beautiful morning with Liane & Joey. It was our first time meeting, too, and right from the get-go it was one of those "hit it off" type situations – partnership might be a better word, really. We laughed and made the occasional awkward joke throughout the session, while finding a plethora of not-so-easy places for them to sit and set up. They trooped on and we created photographic magic together, and I loved every second of it...
